Project Title: Indaba Client’s Name (Country): Indaba Systems (USA) The Challenge: How to dramatically increase sales of a company that sells books, music, videos and games online? How to do this not increasing labor costs and not sacrificing quality of service and favor of customers? A real challenge, isn’t it? The Solution: Here is the solution. Its name is Indaba. We are working on the Indaba project since 2003. It is a unique application enabling our customer to sell books, CDs, DVDs and games at more than 14 e-marketplaces (Amazon.com, eBay.com, Half.com among them) simultaneously. It was a challenge to develop an application not only able to work on-line at very different marketplaces, but also capable to be instantly tuned each time one of the marketplaces changes its rules of data interchange. We coped with the task, and now Indaba is a very robust and flexible system, covering almost all the SCM issues of the customer. The Indaba system grew along with the customer's business growth. Initially it was a small desktop application, now it is a corporate-wide system, and we are still working constantly to improve it. In this period, the customer's company grew also, and now it is in Amazon Top 50 and eBay Top 400 sellers' rankings. Thus, we are working for our client as a remote Software Development Center. The efficient cooperation with the client's staff resulted in the development of the unique software system that tremendously affects the client's business success. The application covers almost all the business needs of the seller, and is integrated with more than 14 e-market places. The application is being constantly improved and becomes more and more powerful day by day.
