The idea is to use the aggregated knowledge of Internet users effectively to find answers for poorly defined questions.

SmartNet is an ASP-module (ASP stands for Application Services Provider) to be added to any informational system that deals with structured data. "Structured data" means information on any objects each of them having a number of attributes. FuzzyXL is a special fuzzy-logic add-in to the well-known MS Excel.

There are no fuzzy logic instruments for common use now. FuzzyXL gives novelty and power of fuzzy calculations to common MS Excel users.

The users of FuzzyXL are the same people who use mathematical and financial functions of MS Excel. Now they get the ability to use just the same functions with fuzzy parameters. SmarTrader system is a custom software application for stock market based on Neural Network algorithms.

SmarTrader is a research prototype of an additional trader instrument that automates the process of stock selection (filtering) and finds special pre-defined patterns in historical (NYSE and NASDAQ) data, thus saving much time and effort and making decision on purchase more accurate and well considered.

SmarTrader software provides market filtering, technical analysis and fundamental analysis features. It is the program with the ability to load the fundamental data and stock charts from Internet sites and other sources.

The system allows user to filter stocks according to pre-defined rules and it presents charts for selected stocks in different modes.

In addition to the basic functionality described above SmarTrader provides sophisticated algorithms of automatic recognition of special types of patterns in the stock charts. The algorithms are based on advanced Neural Networks, Fuzzy Logic and Genetic Algorithms techniques.

The program filters the most prospective stocks for every particular market segment, it recognizes the most reliable types of pre-defined patterns and generates Buy and Sell signals for trader.

For the purpose of training and situational modeling SmarTrader is supplied with historical - since 1965 – data on price/volume and parameters for initial stock filtering rules for more than 3500 stocks.

SmartReport software system is a custom backend reporting tool developed for a big industrial procurement company.

SmartReport software system provides multi-user Web-based creation, management and usage of backend reports in the company VPN.

SmartReport implements basic operations with Crystal Reports(tm) software.

SmartReport works as follows.

The application has a read-only access to production Oracle database via VPN line. The production database is located on a separate server. The interface to the application is Web only.

The application administrator defines users, user groups and their roles. He specifies access levels for users and groups and enters all user information like names, passwords, email address, etc. He can also grant a group administrator role to users.

A user creates his own reports from tables that are available to him. He sees his report structure in a logical tree-like format. The reports are stored in folders and the user is able to navigate folders, copy and move report files and folders, share reports and give permission to view them to other users and groups.

All the following features are available for creation of a new report: sorting, filtering, grouping of data, totaling, charting.

A user can run his report or a group of reports at a scheduled time.

Generated reports could be exported and viewed in various formats (XML, PDF, Word, etc.), or they are viewable using Crystal Report plug-in.
